Katie's New Calling

Katie has recently been called as the Ward Historian, which means that she is in charge of keeping track of and compiling the history of the ward. This is a first time calling in our ward, since the Stake just recently asked that all the wards have a ward historian. Since the calling is new, she is in charge of writing brief histories for the last 2 years in addition to this years history. She was given a few notes from the ward clerk, but overall it's not much too work with. Further complicating matters is the high rate of turnover in a student ward. There are few people who were here two years ago that are still here. But she has already created a newsletter for this month and is awaiting bishopric approval to put it up on the bulletin board at the church.

I'm proud of her.
